Author Guidelines
The format of the research article consists of the title page, abstract (Indonesian and English) introduction, method, result, discussion, and bibliography. Guidelines for authors in accordance with the following provisions:
A. General Instructions
- Jurnal Midwifery Update (Jurnal MU) does not accept articles that have been published or are being submitted to other magazines, by signing a statement. If the article is known to have been published in other journals, then in the next issue of Jurnal Midwifery Update (Jurnal MU) articles will be disallowed. All incoming articles will be discussed by the editorial board and the bestari's partners in accordance with the field of scholarship.
- Articles that need improvement are returned to the author.
- Research articles that use experimental animal research subjects, and humans must obtain the approval of the ethics committee.
- The author may submit the article to the journal page jurnalmu.poltekkes-mataram.ac.id according to the procedure specified in the form of Microsoft word (.doc) file and submit the file archive on the CD to the editor in charge with the address: Editorial of the Jurnal Midwifery Update (Jurnal MU), Sub Unit of Research and Community Service of Midwifery Department, Campus A, Health Road V / 10 Pajang Timur, Mataram; Mobile: 081805711516 (Yunita Marliana, S.Si.T, M.Kes), E-mail: jurnalmidwiferyupdate@gmail.com
B. Writing article
- The title page contains the title of the article, the name of the author of the article (without any academic degree or any other degree), author's affiliate institution, name and correspondence address, telephone number, facsimile number, and e-mail address.
- The title of the article should be short does not exceed 20 words, specific, should not be abbreviated and informative written in Indonesian and English using Arial letter size 11
- Abstract for each article written in Indonesian and English. Abstract does not exceed 250 words, and is the essence of all writing, including: Background, objectives, methods, results and conclusions. Keywords 2-5 Keywords that can help the indexing and sequence typing alphabetically.
- Introduction includes background issues, problem formulation and research objectives and expectations for the future.
- The method contains an explanation of the types, samples, data collection techniques, and data analysis techniques.
- The results are stated clearly when necessary with illustrations (paintings, graphs, tables, diagrams, and photographs). The results described in the table or graph do not need to be re-described in the text. The tables are arranged in sequence that are presented separately in the form of attachments. Each table should be shortened. Place annotations and abbreviations of table descriptions instead of table titles. Maximum number of tables 6 pieces. Results containing only 1 table are arranged in sentence form or described.
- The discussion explains the meaning of the research results, how the results of the reported research can solve the problem, the development of research results for applicative or program progress, and differences or similarities with previous research (if any).
- The conclusion contains a summary of the findings that lead to the verification of the hypothesis.
- Recommendations in the form of recommendations from findings to stakeholders, health program managers, and policy makers. Acknowledgments If necessary, thanks may be given to the research contributor without writing the title.
- Writing references uses the endnote turabian style
- Writing a bibliography is done by mentioning the author's name, title of book, city, publisher, and year, then sorting it in alphabet
